At The Hen House, we offer reliable, flexible childcare that fits your schedule. From wraparound care at local schools to fun-filled holiday camps, our experienced team provides a safe and supportive environment where your child can thrive.
Breakfast and After School Clubs for Local Primary Children
As mothers ourselves, we understand the importance of finding the right childcare for your child.
That’s why we’re committed to providing Ofsted registered, dependable and nurturing environments where your little ones can learn and have fun — giving you peace of mind every step of the way.
We support children with their reading, helping them build confidence and a love for learning. We encourage kids to choose activities that spark their own interests, while also promoting outdoor physical activity in every session.
Plus, we ensure they enjoy balanced, nutritious meals to keep them energised and ready for the next adventure!
Schools out and our holiday camps are the place to be!
With smaller groups and the option for siblings/friends to stay together, we create a fun and safe environment for children aged 3-11.
Our team plans a wide range of age-appropriate activities, all designed to keep kids engaged, whether inside a school hall, at our soft play or enjoying the great outdoors. We limit each group to 20 children, ensuring we can cater to individual interests and needs.
All our team members are DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained and qualified in child safeguarding and food hygiene.
From Aug 2025, alongside our regular camp, we’re running a two week camp just for 3 and 4 year olds. We felt that the needs of children this age needed to be met in a separate and more specialist environment. It’ll be held at The Hen House soft play (which will be closed to the public).
If this is your first time, you’ll need to register with us so we can ensure we have all the necessary information about your child(ren).
If you’ve already used one of our clubs or camps then you can book right now. (you might need to add the camp as a centre on your account)
